EICs’ Parting Words - Leo Ziff

Riverdale Review: How long have you been on the Riverdale Review?

Leo Ziff: I’ve been on the Riverdale Review for four years. First as a staff writer, sports editor, then as an opinions editor, then EiC.

RR: Why did you join the Review?

LZ: I’ve always been really interested in articles and journalism, and I think it’s really cool to see the back side of that. Also being able to improve my writing and editing abilities. Throughout my four years I really improved as a writer, and now I’m a good editor

RR: What was your favorite part of being on the Review?

LZ: My favorite part of the Riverdale Review was getting to talk to a lot of people, practice my time management skills, being able to be comfortable talking to different people, hitting deadlines, and holding people accountable.

RR: What is a highlight or a funny story you have

LZ: Hunting people down for their articles. It’s always funny to see how they react and the lies they tell.
